Nile John, a promising player from Tottenham Hotspur, joined the first team’s training session. The coaching staff under Ange Postecoglou seemed to be impressed with him.

Postecoglou had his first day on the job at Hotspur Way over the weekend. He is getting ready for his inaugural season with the Spurs.
At present, Postecoglou is primarily engaged with the Spurs’ non-international players, expecting the return of the international players in the following week.
He will utilize the coming days to thoroughly assess his present squad and observe some of the emerging talents from the youth system.
Nile John’s performance seems to have garnered the attention of the Spurs’ coaches.

John Gains Praise from Tottenham Coaches
The Tottenham squad were filmed playing rondo, and John’s performance in the Spurs Play video stood out.
Even though he didn’t receive the ball right away, one of Tottenham’s coaches was taken by John’s movement.
While watching the training, one of the coaches commended John, saying, “Well done! Good movement, Nile.”
John has made a handful of appearances for Tottenham, but hasn’t yet become a regular in the first team.
He debuted in the 2020-21 Europa League and appeared again in the Europa Conference League qualifiers the following season.

In the Premier League 2 last year, the young English midfielder was a consistent presence for the Under-21s side, scoring three goals.
Given Postecoglou’s current selection of midfield players, it’s uncertain if John will have the chance to play this season. However, it will undoubtedly benefit him to be training with the first team during the off-season.
As the Spurs aim to bolster their squad this summer, it might be a good opportunity for John to consider a loan to acquire valuable experience with a first-team.
