Tottenham looks to thwart transfer attempt for ‘gifted’ flanker who netted four times in Premier League last season

New insights indicate that Tottenham Hotspur has expressed interest in acquiring Manor Solomon during the ongoing transfer window.

As per The Evening Standard, Fulham has plans to make Solomon’s move permanent following a successful loan spell last season.

The article also points out that Tottenham is keen on thwarting Fulham’s ‘free transfer’ attempt aiming to bring Solomon onboard to boost their offensive armory.

Last season in the Premier League, Solomon impressed with four goals. His other ball-handling skills suggest he could be a formidable threat on the offensive front.

Tottenham has Manor Solomon in their sights

The ‘high calibre’ flanker would bring much-needed offensive depth to Spurs. The departure of Lucas Moura this summer makes the need for reinforcement on the wings quite apparent.

Solomon would be a formidable inclusion off the bench. New club manager Ange Postecoglou, being ore attacking-minded than Spurs’ previous skippers, it’s promising to see more forward players linked with the club.

The ex-Celtic chief has a lot riding on him. However, since Spurs will not be participating in the European league next season, they would want this to be a solitary instance.

Augmenting the attacking force would immensely aid them. Last season saw times where the bench lacked the sufficient attacking prowess to bring in.

Improvements are required not only in the starting lineup but also amongst reserve players. Hence, bringing someone like Solomon on board seems like a suitable transfer move.
