Harry Kane, according to Redknapp, a former Tottenham manager, outclasses Chelsea’s Lukaku.

While reviewing a 2022 Premier League game, Redknapp commended, “Harry Kane delivered an excellent performance against Leicester.

“Even though a few of his attempts went over the bar, his overall play and the goal he scored were spectacular. He’s a class apart.”

“In terms of front men, Harry Kane surpasses Lukaku on every level.”

These contrasting views have reemerged due to the recently circulating controversy of Spurs considering Lukaku for a loan.

Lukaku, after a year-long loan at Inter Milan, is back at Chelsea this year but appears to be out of the team’s plans going forward.

Lukaku’s contract with Chelsea, that extends up to 2026, still has a considerable period left.

It is yet to be seen if Chelsea is open to another loan, especially with their London rivals.

Redknapp asserts that Kane of Tottenham surpasses Lukaku

The authenticity of the rumors linking Lukaku to Spurs is uncertain but will definitely astonish Spurs supporters.

Apart from being continuously linked with a move away, their captain now finds himself in a situation where he might be replaced by a Chelsea striker.

Although Lukaku possesses a remarkable goal-scoring record in top European leagues, hinting at probable success, some Spurs fans might harbor doubts about his role in the long run.

At 30, Lukaku is still in his prime but trying to fill in for Harry Kane might be challenging.

Many might concur with Redknapp’s assessment of Kane’s superiority over Lukaku and do not necessarily perceive it as a criticism of the latter.

No matter what, it will be intriguing to observe how this situation evolves.
