Currently, Harry Kane’s weekly pay at Spurs is approximately £200k.

Spurs has reportedly proposed a new contract to him with an increased paycheck of £400k per week, with one year left in his current deal.

Kane’s prospective move becomes a spotlight story this summer, yet the uncertainty remains.

Bayern Munich maintains a strong interest, with potential interest also from PSG in France.

United’s interest arises even after Spurs allegedly dismissed any sale to another Premier League club.

Considering Harry Kane is already on pre-season tour, the transfer uncertainty may extend deep into the summer.

The unclear situation is presumably not favourable for the new manager, Ange Postecoglou.

The former Celtic coach will certainly prefer his captain to stay, but he also undoubtedly hopes for a resolution at the earliest.

Manchester United’s Interest Wanes in Tottenham’s Harry Kane

Manchester United, cautious not to shake its own wage hierarchy, seems to shift focus towards other options.

Their pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund looks promising now, indicating their intention to rope in a new striker this summer.

Anthony Martial was heavily sidelined due to injuries last season, and Wout Weghorst struggled to maintain consistent scoring.

Having a striker in the mould of Erik ten Haag’s ethos would seem like a natural progression at United.

However, Spurs already have ample choices for the lead striker position, if Kane decides to stay.

Richarlison, aged 26, is eager to demonstrate his starting abilities for Spurs, arriving the previous summer.

The Brazilian’s first season was disappointing, having scored just one Premier League goal, however, he anticipates a better performance this time.”
