Rumors suggest that Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur may be heading off to Bayern Munich this summer. Graeme Bailey recently shared insights concerning what Daniel Levy, Tottenham Hotspur chairman, thinks about this development.
In the current transfer window, uncertainty surrounds the future of Kane. With the final year of his contract approaching and Tottenham out of any European competition, his stay could be in jeopardy.
Nonetheless, Levy has remained steadfast in his assertion that Kane will not be transferred elsewhere. Bailey reinforced this on the Talking Transfers Podcast.
Levy believes that Ange Postecoglou can persuade Harry Kane to stay at Tottenham
Harry Kane, globally esteemed as one of the finest strikers, holds considerable value for Tottenham.
The England captain, is seen as an ‘underrated’ player despite his significant contribution to Tottenham over the years. His exceptional performances last season, when others fell short, showcased his worth.
Despite interest from Manchester City a few years ago, Levy successfully retained Kane. Now, despite renewed interest from the German powerhouse, Bayern Munich, Levy remains hopeful.
In reference to Kane, Bailey disclosed that Levy is convinced the new manager, Ange Postecoglou, can persuade the Englishman to extend his stint at Tottenham after the current summer window.
He said: “There’s no fee here. It doesn’t matter if someone is close to offering the fee that he wants; there’s simply no fee. He’s not entertaining any offers.
“He firmly believes that everyone at Spurs admires Ange Postecoglou, and that he’ll entice him to stay. If he does so, he will start the season.”

Tottenham fans can bask in this positive update, but there’s a long road ahead before the transfer window closes.
Real Madrid may reignite their interest in Harry Kane if they can’t obtain Kylian Mbappe to fill in Karim Benzema’s shoes. Moreover, Bayern’s urgent need for a new striker has been obvious over the past year.
With a stronger chance to obtain silverware at either club, Kane might find a transfer over the summer a tempting opportunity.
However, Tottenham fans are keeping their fingers crossed, hoping Bailey’s prediction comes true and their star player remains with them.
