The optimistic narrative around Tanguy Ndombele’s reign at Tottenham may not conclude in the way many hoped.

The French player has returned to Spurs after his loan period in Napoli the previous season. Early accounts indicated that he could be given another opportunity at Tottenham.

In fact, observations suggested that Ndombele was performing impressively during practice sessions, hinting at the possibility of his reinstatement in Tottenham.

However, we now have reason to believe that he could be on the selling list.

Galatasaray has shown interest in Ndombele, and as per James Maw’s statement on The View from The Lane Podcast, Ndombele could be up for grabs this summer.

Maw provided his insights on Ndombele’s situation.

“As I just referred to Lloris, we are aware of Sanchez generating interest and being up for sale. For Ndombele, there is definite interest, and we are pretty confident he is for sale, will he depart, though?” Maw questioned.

Disappointing

It’s been around three years since Tanguy Ndombele delivered an impressive performance for Tottenham, and yet, it’s somewhat disheartening to anticipate his departure.

Without a doubt, the Frenchman is an extraordinarily skilled footballer.

His technical proficiency is unparalleled, his vision for passing is supreme, and his first-touch is simply exquisite.

However, in the Premier League, talent alone is not sufficient.

As stated by Kevin Durant, hard work trumps talent when talent fails to strive, and unfortunately, Ndombele’s 100 percent commitment on the Spurs’ pitch seemed to be lacking.

There’s an exceptional player deep down waiting for his moment, but alas, it won’t be happening at Tottenham Hotspur for Ndombele.
