So far, Tottenham Hotspur’s summer transfer window activities appear to be productive.
Spurs not only welcome a new helm-man in the form of their new manager, but they have also secured three signatures.
Joining the club permanently is Dejan Kulusevski, while Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison have also been added to the squad.

At present, Spurs are said to be on the hunt for both a new centre-back and right-back.
Reports emerging from Turkey suggest that Tottenham might be aiming to sign both from a single club.
A news story by Sports Witness sourced from journalist Zeki Uzundurukan’s report on Transfer Plus, which was shared by GS Gazete, has been spotlighted.
The report talks about Victor Nelsson and Sacha Boey, a pair from Galatasaray, who are apparently being chased by Tottenham.
It seems Gala’s vice-president, Erden Timur, has spent some time in London discussing with both Spurs and Chelsea.
Reportedly, Spurs enquired about the valuation of Nelsson and Boey during the talks.
Timur’s response was reportedly, “We want €50million” (or £43million).
It should be noted that there is reportedly €25million (£21.5million) release clause for each player.
Our Perspective
The Spurs definitely need to reinforce their defence as we approach the new season. Last season, it let the team down more often than not.
Securing Nelsson and Boey would be a wise move for Spurs, given they are among the best players in Superlig.
They were instrumental in helping Gala secure the league title last season and will be competing in the Champions League qualifiers later this season.
A player assessment of Nelsson posted on Medium back in 2020 praised him as a ‘stellar passer’ who is ‘exceedingly calm and at ease, convenient using either foot’.
Described as an authoritative figure at the back, Nelsson exhibits ‘impressive defensive and positioning awareness along with a solid understanding of the game’.
Nelsson’s 1v1 defending skills are described as ‘exemplary’, with him ‘rarely outplayed by his counterpart’.

On the other hand, according to Whoscored, Boey had a remarkable season with Galatasaray, positioning him to further advance his career.
Journalist Jonathan Johnson holds the belief that Boey has the potential to “grow into being one of France’s prominent players in his position in the coming years.”
For a total of £43million, Spurs could secure two outstanding players to fortify their defence.
