Ange Postecoglou, the boss of Tottenham Hotspur, has given insight into the recent injury of 19-year-old forward Dane Scarlett.
In his recent media briefing, Postecoglou disclosed that Scarlett is dealing with a minor health concern and is not expected to participate in tomorrow’s match.

Tomorrow’s game will see Tottenham in a pre-season friendly match against Singapore’s Lion City Sailors.
Scarlett, who last season was on loan at Portsmouth, is presently touring the Asia-Pacific region with the Spurs’ premiere team.
The injury is an unlucky turn of events for the England youth international, who had been looking forward to making an impression on his new coach, Postecoglou.
Despite his lackluster showing last season at Portsmouth where he scored just four times in 34 League One matches, Scarlett hopes to use this experience to better his performance in the coming season.
Harry Kane serves as an encouraging example of a player who rose through the ranks of the Tottenham academy, despite facing several loan transfers before cementing his place in the main team.
Consequently, there might be a possibility that Postecoglou could arrange an additional loan for Scarlett this season.
Postecoglou Affirms Scarlett’s Absence from Tomorrow’s Tottenham Match
Scarlett was not part of the team in Tottenham’s last friendly game against West Ham.
The young forward had been eager to play in tomorrow’s game so this minor injury is indeed an unfortunate hitch.

Such pre-season tournaments are favorable platforms to display talent and possibly appeal to potential loan providers.
Postecoglou does not seemingly plan to include Scarlett in the main team for the imminent league season.
But, if Harry Kane were to depart, the opportunity for all Tottenham forwards to rise in the club’s pecking order may present itself this summer.
In youth leagues, Scarlett boasts an exceptional record, having netted 18 goals in 20 games in the Under-18 Premier League and five goals in three FA Youth Cup fixtures.
Once fully recovered from his injury, finding the appropriate loan move will be decisive for Scarlett’s growth.
