Alli considered quitting football

Alli stated, “The lowest point for me was when Mourinho was the coach, I was 24, and there was one particular training session. I woke up one morning, ready to train, and this was when Mourinho had stopped including me in the games. I was looking in the mirror, as dramatic as it sounds, wondering whether I could retire from the thing I love the most. That was truly heart-wrenching for me.”

Utter Disappointment

It’s incredibly disheartening to hear someone speak of their passion in such a way, especially when it’s a player like Dele Alli.

The 27-year-old used to be a prodigy during his early days at Spurs, always playing with an infectious energy and exhibiting prodigious talent. He was one of the Premier League’s stars.
