Fabrizio Romano Reveals Harry Kane from Tottenham’s Readiness to Transfer to Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich’s interest in Harry Kane has been well known and discussed over the past few months, but it was unclear if the interest would lead to an official bid.
This week, the German heavyweights made a formal offer of over £60 million plus additional payments for the English professional. As expected, the offer was rejected by Tottenham’s chairman Daniel Levy (as reported by The Athletic).
In his commentary on the ongoing negotiations, Romano disclosed that Bayern Munich hasn’t lost hope yet, particularly as Kane has shown interest in relocating to Germany during this transfer window.
He stated: “Bayern isn’t backing down. They have other options of course, but they don’t want to give up on Harry Kane easily because it appears that he is open to the transition. That’s why they went ahead with an official bid and persist in their pursuit of Kane.”

Daniel Levy would undoubtedly make every effort to retain Kane. However, if a sufficiently large offer lands on the table, it is quite possible that he may consider it, particularly as the player nears the end of his contractual term.
It remains to be seen how far Bayern will go financially in securing Kane during this transfer season.
