Fabrizio Romano Indicates Tottenham’s Verbal Offer for Highly-Rated Target

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be in pursuit of Micky van de Ven, with reports linking the player to the club intensifying.

Several sources and reporters have indicated that Spurs are nearing a deal with the Wolfsburg center back.

John Cross of The Mirror, for instance, shared on Twitter that ‘Tottenham are preparing to secure… Van de Ven with a £30million transaction.’

In conjunction, Sky Sports has reported that the player amicably agreed to a Tottenham transfer, in advance of the proposed £30 million transfer.

Fabrizio Romano has now provided further updates on the potential Spurs and Van de Ven deal.

On Wednesday afternoon, he took to Twitter stating that Tottenham has put forth a preliminary verbal offer.

According to Romano, discussions are still underway and the deal isn’t sealed yet.

Furthermore, Romano mentioned that Tottenham shouldn’t face troubles regarding personal terms as the parties appear to have reached consensus on contract specifics.
