Renewed Hope at Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou Works to Retain ‘Extraordinary’ Player

There’s a growing sentiment at Tottenham Hotspur that Ange Postecoglou may successfully persuade Harry Kane to prolong his tenure with the team.

This shift in confidence is relayed by 90 Min, who are reporting that Spurs’ chairman, Daniel Levy, is not open to any proposal for the transfer of Kane.

With only the final year of Kane’s contract looming, his immediate future at Tottenham seems unclear.

So far, Kane has shown no signs of extending his stint with Spurs, and Bayern Munich is keen to add him to their summer lineup.

In fact, the Bundesliga winners previously tabled a £60 million bid for Kane which was rejected, though they are expected to come up with a higher offer soon.

Despite these happenings, Tottenham remains hopeful that Kane’s future lies within the club past this summer.

Tottenham Expresses Optimism about Kane’s Future

90 Min reports that Tottenham’s confidence about keeping Kane is on the rise.

This new-found optimism is largely attributed to the ‘immediate influence’ of Postecoglou during his first week at Hotspur Way.

The report highlights that Postecoglou’s work since his induction has significantly impressed the club’s leadership.

Despite the team’s struggles, Kane had an impressive run last season with a tally of 30 Premier League goals.

Given Postecoglou’s impending Premier League debut, he would undoubtedly want to retain his top performer.

While Tottenham might risk losing Kane to a free transfer next year by keeping him this summer, they could be betting on a promising start under Postecoglou to sway Kane towards a long-term commitment.
