Tottenham’s All or Nothing inventory by Amazon Prime didn’t seem to be in favour of Dele Alli.
Dele Alli, unfortunately, was depicted negatively in the behind-the-scenes portrayal of Tottenham Hotspur, whereas many other players were shown in an exemplary manner due to their leadership, talent and devotion.
Footage of Jose Mourinho’s meetings with Alli were frequently shared online, tarnishing Alli’s reputation as many sided with Mourinho’s viewpoint.
Alli recently clarified his side of the story in an interview with The Overlap. He asserted that Mourinho’s remarks about him were twisted and added that the coach later apologised to him after watching him train and play.

Alli Hits Back
Alli presented his version of the events.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity to discuss it. People never seem to forget his ‘lazy’ comment. That remark, when he dubbed me ‘lazy’, was made the day after rest day,” explained Alli.
“A week later, after he got the opportunity to see me train and perform on the field, he apologised to me for that remark.
“This part was not included in the documentary nor did anyone ever bring this up. He did apologise. At the time, I didn’t give much thought to it as I know I’m not indolent.”
“Things are not always as they seem.”

Not Indolent
The very idea that Dele Alli could be considered ‘lazy’ is preposterous, to be honest.
While he might appear a bit relaxed on the field, you don’t become the recipient of the PFA Young Player of the Year award twice if you’re simply a sloth.
Alli is an individual who has put immense effort to reach the zenith of this sport. Despite issues away from the pitch impacting his advancement in recent times, he has toiled hard to reach his current status.
The fact is that no Premier League footballer is ‘lazy’ in any way; each puts in varying levels of work, but it’s entirely unjust to label any of them as ‘lazy’.
