Tottenham’s £15m Star Shows Up for Training Amidst Exit Rumours

Spotted at Hotspur Way today, Tottenham Hotspur’s defender Joe Rodon, amidst rumours of his potential exit this summer.

Under the guidance of Ange Postecoglou, Spurs are anticipated to remodel their team in the ensuing weeks, in line with his style.

The Australian manager began his tenure at Spurs on July 1 and has been working with a select group of veteran players over the previous 12 days.

However, Tottenham’s international players, including Joe Rodon, have rejoined training today.

Rodon re-joins Tottenham’s Training

In a video clip shared on Tottenham’s official Twitter account, Rodon was welcomed back by the media team as he reported for training.

Rodon spent the previous season on loan at Ligue 1’s Stade Rennais, making a total of 22 appearances across all formats.

Despite the uncertainty over his future, Rodon was radiantly cheerful on his return to Spurs today.

Last month, Football.London indicated that Rodon, seeking regular first-team play, could leave Tottenham this summer.

Having joined Spurs in 2020, the £15 million defender received a promising start under Jose Mourinho but has endured limited playing time in North London.

This summer, his decision to move on wouldn’t catch anyone by surprise, especially considering that Tottenham are interested in strengthening their defense.

Rodon’s performance in France last season was underwhelming, and his time at Spurs has been overshadowed by several managerial changes.
