Contrasting views on ‘extraordinary’ Tottenham player: the perspectives of Conte and Postecoglou

Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham Hotspur seems to be viewed differently by Ange Postecoglou, unlike the club’s former managers, Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho.

The Evening Standard provides this information, shedding some light on Kane’s status as he resumes training at Hotspur Way.

The well-known fact that Bayern Munich is interested in acquiring Kane this summer is still valid. The Spurs superstar is approaching the last year of his contract with the club.

The future of the 29-year-old forward has been a hot topic in the early stages of the current transfer window, and questions have already been raised to Postecoglou about it.

However, it seems that the Australian coach is particularly calm when it comes to this issue.

Postecoglou’s viewpoint on Kane

According to The Evening Standard, Kane will likely notify Postecoglou that he is yet undecided about remaining with the team.

If Kane continues to question his future in the ‘medium term’, Postecoglou’s response will apparently be more laid-back than either Antonio Conte or Jose Mourinho’s reaction.

This is due to the thought that Kane’s departure would have been considered ‘unacceptable’ by both of them.

In recent days, Spurs fans have been infused with a bit of hope that Kane could still be persuaded to extend his stay in North London.

Postecoglou appears unperturbed by the situation and addressed queries about the English captain’s future with confidence on Monday.

However, it is yet to be seen whether Bayern Munich will raise their offer to recruit the ‘outstanding’ striker.

Currently, the valuation from the Bundesliga champions falls short of Tottenham’s expectations, and Kane has already returned to Hotspur Way.

As they gear up for the new season under Postecoglou, Spurs will hope to prevent this uncertainty from dragging on all summer. Their optimism rests on the possibility that the Australian manager could persuade Kane that his future is with Tottenham.
