Tottenham ready to sign £13m player in forthcoming deal

Tottenham Hotspur is set to make a move to acquire Fulham’s defender Tosin Adarabioyo shortly.

As per Foot Mercato reports, Tottenham has already initiated communications with Adarabioyo’s agents for an expected summertime exchange.

The Spurs are starting off the transfer window on a positive note, having already secured James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario.

Ex-Fulham winger Manor Solomon is also anticipated to join the team soon on a free transfer. Reports from The Athletic indicate he’s poised to sign a five-year contract in the next few days.

Next on Tottenham’s agenda is revamping their defense, with significant interest in Tosin Adarabioyo, another Fulham’s star.

As per recent reports by Alasdair Gold, Adarabioyo is a key target for Tottenham’s center-back position this summer.

The Spurs are now prepared to make their move for the 25-year-old in the coming days.

Adarabioyo is Tottenham’s next move

Foot Mercato has noted Tottenham’s keen interest in Adarabioyo and the team has already consulted his agents about a potential move. Next, they will line up talks with Fulham to discuss the defender’s acquisition terms.

Tottenham is reportedly being associated with many center-back candidates, with Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba also attracting interest.

Which players Tottenham prioritises in the coming days as they plan to recruit a new defender will be worth watching.

Adarabioyo has done notably well for Fulham under coach Marco Silva this season, showing strong ball-handling skills which could be useful under Ange Postecoglou.

Fulham’s asking price for the defender – £13 million – might be a cost-effective choice for Tottenham.

However, even if Tottenham decides to go for Adarabioyo soon, it seems likely they would need another center-back addition.

While Adarabioyo has demonstrated potential, it’s unlikely he will alone be the solution to Tottenham’s defense issues. He would more likely be a dependable squad option for Postecoglou.
