This infectious positivity from the 32-year-old assistant manager shows that he values what he has observed in Postecoglou’s work.

The former Celtic manager, renowned for leading his club to victory in the Scottish Premiership and playing captivating football, raises great expectations.

With the coming season bereft of European matches, Spurs can focus all their efforts on the three English competitions. This could bolster their chances of qualifying for Europe again and faring well in a cup competition, potentially claiming the trophy that has eluded them for over a decade.

However, less competition could equate to magnified expectations on the management staff, thereby increasing the pressure on their performance.
