Tottenham is not the favored move for 23-Year-Old Forward Dusan Vlahovic, Considered as Harry Kane’s Possible Successor

Dusan Vlahovic, Juventus’ forward, is not considering leaving the Italian club this summer, even though Tottenham Hotspur is showing interest.

With just one month remaining for the summer, Tottenham fans are anxiously awaiting to know where star player Harry Kane will be playing this season.

So far, every offer from Bayern Munich concerning the future of Kane, the England captain, has been declined after several meetings.

We are yet to see if Bayern’s rumored third attempt will catch the attention of Daniel Levy.

Regardless of the outcome, Tottenham needs to have contingency plans if Kane decides to leave in the forthcoming weeks.

Dusan Vlahovic is one player that the club might consider as a potential replacement for Kane.

Vlahovic, who shone brightly in his early days with Fiorentina, was brought on board by Juventus a year and a half ago.

Despite not being able to keep up with the club’s expectations so far, Vlahovic is more inclined to remain with Juventus than transfer to Tottenham.

He is determined to make his mark and achieve success in Serie A.

Vlahovic Prefers Staying with Juventus Despite Tottenham Showing Interest

Albanese, commenting on the 23-year-old forward’s future, said: “Dusan Vlahovic does not wish to part ways with Juventus.

“Quite the opposite, he wants to stay in Turin in order to prove his worth and justify the 80 million [£68.7m] invested by Juventus to sign him from Fiorentina a year and a half ago.

“Several clubs including Arsenal from the Premier League were interested in Vlahovic back then.

“However, he chose to play for Juventus as it was a dream come true for him. Currently, Vlahovic does not wish to leave Turin.

“While he would not oppose a potential transfer, it is understandable that the player might have his own conditions considering that transfers are part of modern football.”

Albanese further added that Vlahovic is eager to compete in the Champions League and there is apparent interest from PSG as well.

Tottenham may not be overly upset if Vlahovic decides to stay with Juventus.

Considering his struggle to keep up with the expectations at the Italian club, it may be critical for Spurs to find a replacement for Kane who can immediately step up if he decides to leave.

It would be ideal if Kane continues with Tottenham for the next season and even extends his contract in North London.

Only time will tell if this is indeed feasible.
