24-Year-Old Tottenham Player’s Stellar Performance in Yesterday’s Match Wows Emerson Royal

Yesterday’s friendly match saw Tottenham Hotspur’s fresh recruit, Manor Solomon win the admiration of Emerson Royal.

Marking an end to their pre-season tour, Tottenham secured a 5-1 win against the Singaporean side, Lion City Sailors, just yesterday.

Solomon commemorated his first trip as a Tottenham player with a post on Instagram.

Despite Tottenham’s notable business transactions this summer, Manor Solomon’s acquisition could be deemed the most economical.

The 24-year-old winger was brought on board in a free transfer deal from Shakhtar Donetsk, after a loan stint at Fulham.

Although his contract in Ukraine was set to expire only by December, Solomon could join Tottenham immediately owing to a FIFA ruling.

Impressing his teammates with a splendid pre-season start, Solomon has earned a pat on the back from Emerson Royal.

Yesterday’s victory for Spurs came along during the second half, following an initial bout of struggles.

The Lion City defenders had a challenging time managing Solomon’s fast pace and quick maneuvers, which ended without him scoring a goal.

Tottenham’s New Signing Solomon Gains Praise from Emerson Royal

The 24-year-old took to Instagram to express gratitude for the overwhelming support during their pre-season tour.

Royal warmly received the wingman’s Instagram update and lauded his gameplay after the match.

The roles that will be played by both Emerson Royal and Solomon in the upcoming season under Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou are eagerly anticipated.

Postecoglou had several choices for the right-back position and selected Pedro Porro for yesterday’s game.

Porro was partially responsible for Lion City’s only goal, while Emerson, who replaced him post half-time, wasn’t faced with many challenges.

Despite not featuring in the pre-season, Djed Spence hopes to make a break into the team following a lackluster inaugural campaign.

Manor Solomon is set to substitute for Lucas Moura and Arnaut Danjuma.

Although a starting role at the onset of the campaign is doubtful, nothing could prevent him from making an entry into the team.

Solomon and Emerson Royal are motivated to prevent spending excessive time on the bench for Tottenham.

They are aiming to persuade Postecoglou through the remaining two friendly matches that they deserve to debut against Brentford.
