Gift Orban is now on Tottenham’s recruiting radar as they confront the possible departure of Harry Kane. According to a 90min news, Bayern Munich remains optimistic that their forthcoming offer for Kane would be green-lit by Tottenham.

The player signed to fill Kane’s shoes could significantly shape the club’s path in the coming years. Orban appears to be on Tottenham’s shortlist of replacements.

The young striker netted 20 times in 22 matches across all competitions in the previous season. Impressively, he has hailed 32 goals in 39 domestic league matches at an early stage of his career.

Nieuwsblad’s reporting indicates that Gent is determined to set a club-record transfer fee for Orban, surpassing the £23.2 million they pocketed from Jonathan David’s exit.

It’s uncertain whether Tottenham would be willing to match this high asking price. However, Nieuwsblad states that the Spurs have already initiated talks with his team about a potential transfer.

There’s no doubt that Orban’s talent is ‘exceptional’. Still, filling the potential void left by Kane would be an immense task for him. Ideally, Tottenham might want to have another alternative up their sleeve.

Spurs also have notable strikers such as Richarlison, Son Heung-min, and Dejan Kulusevski, who could ease the pressure on any incoming forward.

Still, if Orban were to join Tottenham and successfully translate his form to the Premier League, he could potentially be a game-changer for the team.
