Harry Kane: Daniel Levy’s Response to Bayern Munich’s Bid

Charlie Eccleshare, a sports journalist, has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur plans to turn down Bayern Munich’s offer to purchase Harry Kane.

Earlier today, The Athletic reported that Bayern has put forth a proposal of approximately €70 million plus additional benefits to acquire the Tottenham star.

Kane, aged 29, had previously caught the attention of Manchester United and Real Madrid; however, their interest seems to have subsided recently.

Bayern has had their eye on Kane, the English football team’s captain, for a while, but it was presumed they would not attempt to make a move this summer.

However, the current Bundesliga champions have put forth an initial offer, which Tottenham’s Chairman, Daniel Levy, is expected to refuse.

Tottenham Retorts to Bayern’s Proposition for Kane

Following David Ornstein’s announcement about Bayern’s bid on a Twitter post, Eccleshare confirmed that it will be dismissed.

Alasdair Gold from Football.London also agreed with Eccleshare’s confirmation, stating that Tottenham have reiterated their stance, promising to reject any offers made for Kane.

The future of Kane remains a heated discussion this summer as he enters the last year of his contract.

Even though United and Madrid have lost interest in Kane, Bayern appears committed to redoubling their efforts to gain his allegiance.

It is still unclear if Daniel Levy might consider selling Kane to a foreign club for the right price. Yet, Bayern’s preliminary bid hasn’t met the expectations set by Tottenham.
