Tottenham Considers £45m Football Player as the Most Suitable Recruiting Based on Data Analysis

According to its data analytics, Tottenham Hotspur considers centre-back Edmond Tapsoba as an excellent signing for the coming summer.

Football London reported in greater detail about Tottenham’s strategy for their upcoming transfer window choices.

With less than three weeks until the beginning of the Premier League, the manager, Ange Postecoglou, acknowledges the substantial work he has left to complete.

After a loss to West Ham in Perth, yesterday’s friendly match cancellation against Leicester added to his frustration.

With an abundant roster going into this season, Postecoglou needs to trim his team considerably and swiftly.

Beyond this, there is a need to find an appropriate partner for Cristian Romero for the approaching season.

According to data, Tottenham believes Edmond Tapsoba could be the most suitable player for the position.

While he has been impressive for Bayer Leverkusen, the £45m-rated central defender is currently one of the most expensive options available in the market.

Data Suggests Tapsoba is the Most Suitable Recruitment for Tottenham

Football London reported that Tapsoba and Wolfsburg’s Micky Van de Ven are the highest-priced players Tottenham is currently considering.

Although Tosin Adarabioyo and Clement Lenglet would be more affordable, Tosin is expected to be the focus of a forthcoming proposal.

The report also mentioned that data analysis marked Tapsoba and Van de Ven as excellent candidates for Postecoglou’s system.

Despite rumours linking Tottenham with Tapsoba throughout the summer, the team has made little progress in reaching a deal.

Talks were awaited last week, but nothing has been finalized yet.

Postecoglou’s plans may be limited by the necessity to shed existing players before an expensive replacement is allowed by Levy.

Davinson Sanchez, Joe Rodon and Japhet Tanganga are some of the players that might be transferred this summer.

Although they are unlikely to generate enough funds for the purchase of Tapsoba, their absence would free Postecoglou from having to keep numerous players satisfied next season.

If the data indicates Tapsoba is the perfectly suited player for Tottenham’s system, they should definitely pursue him.

The 24-year-old player has shown impressive performance in the Bundesliga and could seamlessly integrate into the left-sided centre-back position.
