There are indications that Tottenham Hotspur’s Summer transfer plans may suffer another setback as Monaco is set to sign Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham.
Foot Mercato reported this evening that the renowned French team is on the verge of reaching a deal with Fulham for the defender.
Adarabioyo, who is 25 years old, has been a sought-after player this transfer season. Tottenham had shown interest, but it seems their hopes will go unfulfilled.
It appears that Monaco is set to win the race for Adarabioyo, with the agreement almost finalized.

Known for his stand-out performances in England, Adarabioyo had a choice of clubs this summer.
Yet, a move to Monaco seems to be his preference as the French side is soon to strike a deal.
It is expected that Fulham will receive around £13m from the transfer, according to reports.
Tottenham Loses Another Prospect
Manager Ange Postecoglou has been on the lookout for a new defender. However, it seems one more player has slipped through Tottenham’s fingers.
While Tottenham have made some positive moves this summer to bolster their squad, more is needed. The potential addition of Adarabioyo to Monaco is a disappointment.
Adarabioyo would have fit well alongside Cuti Romero at Tottenham. Now, it is uncertain if Tottenham will turn their attention to a different player.
Clearly, Spurs and Postecoglou need another addition in the defensive sector.
