Tottenham Hotspur find themselves as unexpected contenders in the race to sign Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe is gearing up to part ways with PSG after another disagreement with the Ligue 1 juggernauts. The French phenomenon isn’t short on potential deals and is allegedly being eyed by Saudi Arabia for a substantial money deal.
That said, most expect Mbappe will eventually find himself in Real Madrid by next summer.
Despite this, it seems PSG are open to the prospect of a temporary loan for the coming season and as per iNews, Tottenham, among other English clubs, have shown interest in such a temporary arrangement.

iNews suggests Manchester United, Spurs and Chelsea are among the English clubs considering a deal. Despite Mbappe’s hefty weekly wage at PSG, Premier League sides are looking into how a deal could work given there is no transfer fees in play.
However, it’s presumed that Mbappe isn’t excited by the idea of moving to Spurs.
But given there’s still a chance Harry Kane may join Bayern Munich, Tottenham are considering all possible alternatives.
Interestingly, Mbappe was even made fun of Kane when the England captain failed to score a penalty during a match against France in the World Cup.
Since joining, Mbappe has led PSG to numerous titles and was on the verge of winning back-to-back World Cups in December, but his hat-trick in the final was not enough to secure victory over Argentina.
Mbappe’s move to Tottenham unlikely
If Kylian Mbappe were to someday appear at Spurs, it would certainly make headlines and instantly make them contenders for the title.
However, this seems unlikely, doesn’t it?
Among the clubs interested in Mbappe, Tottenham rank relatively low and there are even whispers that he’s already dismissed the idea of moving to North London.
