In the past few weeks, Tottenham has been linked with Jadon Sancho. However, they have so far declined to make any efforts to secure the Manchester United player.
Since United paid over £70m for him, Sancho has struggled to make a significant impact. Erik ten Hag granted him a break, and it’s uncertain whether he’ll join the first team in the upcoming season.

Recently, rumors have suggested that Tottenham might be interested in Sancho. The club is in search of new talent to help coach Ange Postecoglou achieve success.
However, according to The Independent, Tottenham has made no attempt to negotiate with United concerning Sancho’s potential signing, despite the offer.
The Independent suggests that Sancho is considered a viable sell-off candidate at Old Trafford, with Tottenham being the proposed buyer. But so far, there’s been no response from Tottenham, and Sancho continues to be part of Manchester United.
Unaffordable for Spurs
Even though Sancho is recognized as a ‘frightening’ talent by Jude Bellingham, he hasn’t been able to prove this consistently in England.
It’s expected that signing Sancho would be a costly deal for Tottenham. United would likely demand at least a significant part of their initial investment. And considering his performance, it’s highly improbable that Spurs would pay that sum for Sancho.
The most important thing for Sancho now is to maintain focus, work diligently, and take to heart the advice of Ten Hag.
He showed promising talent at Dortmund, but until he consistently exhibits this, it’s unlikely that any other team, let alone Tottenham, will be willing to spend a considerable amount on him.
