It appears that James Maddison is set to be the second player to join Tottenham during this summer’s transfer period. The spotlight now moves to who could be their third addition.
Presently, negotiations for an agreement with Edmond Tapsoba, Bayern Leverkusen’s center-back who has been associated with Tottenham for a while, are underway.
Should the negotiation prove successful, this could be yet another splendid acquisition for Tottenham, potentially bolstering the squad’s chances in the forthcoming season.
With a new coach, a goalie, a playmaker, and possibly adding a new defender and center-back, Tottenham could have what is needed to have a successful run.
However, acquiring Tapsoba won’t necessarily solve all of Tottenham’s problems.
The fact is, Harry Kane’s contract is nearing its end and the current team hasn’t been able to secure victories on both national and continental stages.
