Tottenham Hotspur’s successful summer transfer market spree continues as they have signed four elite players.
Players like Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Manor Solomon have already joined the Spurs roster. Dejan Kulusevski has also now permanently joined the Spur’s.
Tottenham’s transfer endeavours are seemingly not yet complete. Multiple sources suggest that the Spurs are exploring defence options.

The Spurs reportedly now have their attention focused on a new striker, says a report originating from Mexico.
JFMX‘s official Twitter account has claimed that Tottenham is weighing up a bid for Feyenoord’s Santi Gimenez in anticipation of Harry Kane’s departure.
As per this report, Tottenham could target the Feyenoord player if their lead goal-scorer were to leave.
In such a scenario, Tottenham would reportedly make a €40m bid (approximately £35m) for Gimenez, a widely capped Mexico international player.
Reportedly, Tottenham has already held discussions with the 22-year-old player’s management this summer.
However, Feyenoord is said to be holding out for €50m (or around £43.5m) for Gimenez, indicating that Tottenham may need to negotiate fervently.
Our Perspective
Given that Kane’s contract is due to expire next year, the weeks ahead will undoubtedly be filled with tension for the Tottenham team and their fans.
If Kane doesn’t extend his contract, it’s likely that Spurs will choose to offload him this summer.
They might choose to hold onto him until his contract expires, but it would mean losing a valuable player for free in 2024.
Replacing him with Gimenez could be a smart move by Tottenham. His performance at Feyenoord has consistently been on an upward trajectory.
Last season, he impressively recorded 28 goals and three assists in 50 appearances for his club across all competitions.
The contributions of Gimenez played a significant part in Feyenoord winning the Eredivisie championship under Arne Slot’s guidance.
“Breaking the Lines” recently described this left-footed player as ‘one of the future top strikers in European football.’

He was also hailed for his ‘excellent goal targeting, complete with a powerful leap and a highly accurate header.’
While the Tottenham faithful undoubtedly hopes that Kane will stay, sealing his career with a new contract at N17, Gimenez appears to be a worthy successor in case that does not happen.
