This One Man is the Talk of Tottenham

Tottenham has made intriguing recruitments this summer, with the most noteworthy being their new head coach.

Now tasked with guiding the Tottenham team is Ange Postecoglou. From what can be seen, he seems to be doing remarkably well in challenging times.

Postecoglou, the Australian, has managed to sway many supporters with his offensive play style during pre-season. His way of interacting with the media has also been praised by both fans and experts.

Nonetheless, his on-field tactics aren’t the only standout qualities.

Martin Lipton, in his comments on Last Word on Spurs, has alluded that Postecoglou has also made a significant positive impact off the pitch, with everyone connected with Tottenham seeing him as a great asset.

The Genuine Article

Lipton shared his views about the Spurs’ coach.

“From what I’ve observed of Postecoglou and what people from Tottenham have told me recently, I strongly believe that he’s the genuine article. He has the potential to be a highly successful manager, given he’s allowed to develop his own management style and not subjected to undue pressure in the initial weeks,” said Lipton.

No Easy Task

Postecoglou seems to have made a good first impression at Tottenham’s back-stage, but replicating this success on the field is a completely different ball game.

The Premier League is very demanding, and while Postecoglou hopes to make a strong start, the reality is that things won’t always be smooth.

With the defence yet to be bolstered and Harry Kane’s future being uncertain, it is challenging to have many positive expectations about Tottenham’s season, regardless of their coach.

While Postecoglou is doing the proper things at present, he continues to face a steep challenge at Spurs.
