“Speedy” Striker, Once on Spurs’ Radar, Opts for Different Squad

Adama Bojang was a potential addition to Tottenham Hotspur in the past.

This past April, the Daily Mail had reported that the Spurs were interested in the young Gambian international forward.

Adding to Tottenham, other teams such as Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Manchester United, and Newcastle were said to be chasing him as well.

Despite this, it seems that the Spurs along with other English Premier League teams have missed out on acquiring Bojang.

According to a Twitter post by Fabrizio Romano, the 19-year-old striker has decided to sign with French club Reims.

Romano mentioned that major UK teams were keen to acquire Bojang.

However, after deliberating with his agents, Bojang thought that joining Reims was his best choice.

Romano further added that Bojang is expected to sign a five-year contract with Reims next week and also a three-year sponsorship contract with Adidas.
