Club ready to break transfer history for Tottenham’s ‘underestimated’ player

90 Min reveals that Bayern Munich is planning to surpass their previous transfer record by signing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in the upcoming summer.

Insiders share that Bayern is assembling a third offer in their efforts to clinch Kane.

The future of Kane at Tottenham is still hanging in the balance as he enters his last contract year.

Tottenham has already turned down two proposals from Bayern Munich, the most recent one being around £68 million plus additional expenses.

Tottenham is striving to retain their highest goalscorer ever. The Telegraph reports that Kane is still weighing his future options.

Should Kane decide to depart upon his return to Hotspur Way, Bayern would have to substantially up their bid to secure his agreement.

Bearing in mind Bayern’s willingness to break their own transfer fee record to bring Kane in this summer.

Bayern set to obliterate transfer record to secure Kane

90 Min reports that Bayern’s second offer is around €80 million, equivalent to the amount they paid for Lucas Hernandez in 2019.

Yet, Tottenham has dismissed this offer as well, but Bayern remains resolute in their goal to bring Kane on board, even if it implies setting a new transfer record.

Tottenham have made it abundantly clear that they won’t consider any bids for Kane and will refuse any future propositions from Bayern.

Kane marked another outstanding season, netting 30 Premier League goals despite Tottenham’s challenges.

The often underestimated striker has previously expressed his aspiration to win trophies, and it’s not clear if he believes he can fulfill that at Spurs.

As of now, Bayern hasn’t submitted an offer substantial enough to make Daniel Levy ponder the decision.

Tottenham is keen to resolve Kane’s future sooner rather than later, more so with Ange Postecoglou currently supervising his debut pre-season at the club.
