According to Vega, Tottenham should look into acquiring Dusan Vlahovic if Harry Kane ends up leaving.

The £68m striker had an impressive performance with Fiorentina but hasn’t been able to replicate it with Juventus.

Despite the 23-year-old’s initial hesitance to leave Turin this summer, a substantial offer from a post-Kane sale could potentially interest Juventus enough to sell.

Vega Proposes Vlahovic as A Suitable Replacement

According to Vega’s tweet, Dusan Vlahovic would be an excellent replacement should Harry Kane decide to leave Tottenham.

The scenario most favourable for Tottenham this summer would be Kane’s agreement to renew his contract with the club.

While the transfer window is open, however, discussions on a new deal appear uncertain.

Regardless, Kane wants his future resolved before the Premier League season begins the following week.

If this is the case, Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, only needs to resist advances from Bayern Munich for a few more days.

Should Ange Postecoglou enable Dusan Vlahovic to regain his best form, he could potentially be a shrewd replacement for Harry Kane.

Although the Serbian international doesn’t possess the same skillset as Kane, there are few forwards in world football who do.

Postecoglou is likely expecting less involvement from Kane in Tottenham’s build-up play compared to what was expected under prior managers.
