Son Heung-Min Sends Support to Dele Alli Following Recent Interview

Star of Tottenham Hotspur, Son Heung-Min, has shared a supportive message to Dele Alli, after listening to his interview with Gary Neville today.

Dele offered a heartfelt interview on The Overlap, discussing the personal difficulties he’s faced in his recent past.

The footballer, previously at Spurs, talked about his struggles with sleeping pill addiction and mental health issues, along with some distressing episodes in his life.

Post-interview, Dele has been shown massive support from the football fraternity. The interview aired on Thursday morning.

Former colleagues Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen have already shown their solidarity through genuine messages towards their previous teammate.

Son has now taken the opportunity to share his message of support for Dele via social media.

On Instagram story, Son posted several photographs of he and Dele from their Spurs days.

The message he posted read, “Your daring words will assist numerous people. Proud of you, pal,” which he appended with a heart emoji.

Dele has faced his share of negative feedback over the last few years owing to a noticeable slump in his performance. He transferred from Tottenham to Goodison Park in January of last year.

It’s apparent that his off-field issues have significantly affected his game for quite some time, but it’s heartening to witness the footballing world showing their support post-interview.

It’s not surprising that his ex-colleagues have shown up in his support considering the strong relationships Dele built during his time at Spurs.

We certainly look forward to seeing Dele regain his top form in the Premier League, and more importantly to see him be happy and content again.
