The upcoming hours will be decisive in determining the future of Harry Kane at Tottenham Hotspur.

Fabrizio Romano, a journalist, recently shed more light on the 30-year-old’s current situation.

Harry Kane’s future has put Tottenham in a quandary.

With less than a year remaining on his contract and no signs of renewal amid the open transfer window, the team may have to make a tough call.

Tottenham’s owner, Joe Lewis, has apparently pushed Daniel Levy to sell Kane if a satisfactory offer comes through.

Bayern Munich are hopeful that they can persuade Tottenham to give up their icon this summer.

According to Romano, the next few hours will be pivotal in deciding if Kane will remain at Tottenham for the upcoming season.

Bayern, the German champions, are set for a meeting with Levy and other Tottenham representatives today.

After two unsuccessful bids, a third pitch is expected in the near future.

Kane’s future at Tottenham hinges on the forthcoming hours

In his post on Twitter, Romano indicated: “Critical hours for sealing Harry Kane’s deal. Bayern’s representatives are ready for an in-person meeting in London with Daniel Levy, as direct negotiations with Tottenham are scheduled.

“Bayern’s bid will exceed the previous €80m [£68.5m] package.

“We regard Daniel Levy as a professional”, says Bayern president Hainer.”
