Galatasaray, the Turkish football club, has proposed a new deal for Tanguy Ndombele of Tottenham Hotspur. Ndombele is 26 years old.
Per journalist Ertan Suzgun, the bid proposed by Galatasaray exceeds their prior proposal of £6.9m.
Tweeting the news, Suzgun shared: “Exclusive – Galatasaray updated Tottenham’s bid for Tanguy Ndombele.
“Galatasaray raised the offer to over 8 million Euros and lessened the term of the payment plan.”
Following his year-long loan to Napoli of Italy, Tanguy Ndombele has reunited with Spurs for pre-season training.
Despite being a French international, Ndombele hasn’t participated in any friendly matches under the tutelage of Ange Postecoglou yet, as he is just regaining his fitness after an injury.
Whether Tottenham has future plans for Ndombele is still debatable, but Galatasaray is certain that a deal could be arranged.
Even though Ndombele joined Spurs back in 2019 with a weekly salary of £200k and has been celebrated for his skills, his performance hasn’t met the initial expectations.
