Tottenham is Worried Manchester United Might Also Sign Edmond Tapsoba
Over the past few weeks, there have been increasing rumours linking Edmond Tapsoba with a possible switch to Tottenham.
The 24-year-old Bayer Leverkusen ace exhibited splendid performance in the Bundesliga for the last two years, indicating he would be a remarkable asset for Spurs.
According to Football London, acquiring Tapsoba might cost up to £50 million, making him the priciest player for Spurs in this transfer window, should they manage to secure him.
However, ‘increasing rival interest’ from clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Newcastle United, as suggested by 90min, is causing ‘concern’ at Tottenham regarding Tapsoba’s signing.
Given Tottenham’s higher need for a centre-back compared to the other three Premier League clubs, it provides them with the motivation to finalize the deal swiftly.
