Incredible Goal from 20-Year-Old Tottenham Player During Open Training Session Wows Spectators

During an open training session, Tottenham Hotspur’s young midfielder Pape Matar Sarr amazed the audience by scoring an extraordinary goal.

In a video posted by Tottenham on YouTube, Ange Postecoglou’s team is seen undergoing intensive training in two separate sessions.

The latter of these training bouts took place in front of a multitude of spectators in Singapore.

After a friendly match with Leicester City was called off, Postecoglou would have been keen to maintain a high level of performance in practice.

He has a limited timeframe to introduce his strategic plans and tactics to the team.

The challenge is made even harder with a team that’s presumably more populous than he would ideally prefer.

Considering the size of the squad, it’s logical for Postecoglou to scrutinize all potential alternatives, including those disregarded by Antonio Conte.

Postecoglou acknowledged his admiration for the talents of the 20-year-old player.

During a recent training session, Sarr demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess with an exceptional shot.

While he hasn’t marked his goal tally for Spurs yet, he did net thrice for Metz before relocating to North London.

Sarr’s Stunning Training Goal

In the video from Tottenham, the players are seen engaging in some unresisted attack exercises.

Players were making low crosses into the penalty box for first-time strikes on goal.

Pedro Porro burst down the right flank before feeding Sarr with a pass.

The player from Senegal shot the ball past goalie Guglielmo Vicario, the ball making its way into the goal via the bar’s underside.

The spectators erupted in cheer, clearly impressed with the young player’s stunning goal.

Sarr was given a chance to start in their friendly match versus Lion City Sailors in Singapore by Postecoglou.

Sarr played a box-to-box role, positioned behind Yves Bissouma but a little more forward than James Maddison.

This kind of position allows a player to join the attack at the last moment and linger at the box’s boundary.

Sarr’s recent goal in training proves that he can score from such positions.

Though not his primary role, adding a few goals to his name would be a useful contribution.
