Recent news indicates that Harry Kane will not be renegotiating a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur, and the club has consequently set a selling price for him.
As detailed by The Times, Kane has resolved not to renew his contract with Tottenham.
The expiration of his existing contract is due by the next summer, and if Spurs fail to sell him this summer, it becomes increasingly probable that he could depart without any charge.
He purportedly shows a willingness to switch to Bayern Munich if an agreement can be reached.
As the captain of the England team, he ranks among the top considerations for Bayern, a German club that has had its second bid (worth approximately £68.5 million plus incentives) turned down.
Further, the report reveals that Tottenham is expecting close to £100 million, preferably as a single lump-sum payment, for them to think about selling Kane.
The club had initially harbored hopes of convincing him to sign a new contract but have now decided on this set price.

Tottenham sets financial expectation for Kane’s sale
It is indeed a major revelation that the renowned striker appears reluctant to sign a new contract at present. He holds the most goals scored in the club’s history and is unquestionably a club icon.
The 29-year-old player has yet to clinch a trophy in his career and, in view of the Spurs securing the eighth position along with increased attraction from the Bundesliga champions Bayern, he is evidently reassessing his future.
If it were not for his 30 Premier League goals last season, the Spurs, known for conceding the sixth-highest goals in the league, would certainly have settled for a much lower rank.
This summer is a critical period as Spurs are eager to retain him but at the same time, they can’t risk losing him without any cost the coming summer.

It’s certainly an intriguing phase for the club. Spurs presently have an innovative new manager, Ange Postecoglou, and they’ve made promising interpretations like James Maddison.
Notwithstanding this, the future of Kane remains a significant concern and overshadows any excitement and optimism around the upcoming season.
