Club Owner Rejects Carlo Ancelotti’s Bid for Outstanding Player from Tottenham

Carlo Ancelotti, the management figurehead of Real Madrid football club, has expressed his desire to recruit star player Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in the forthcoming summer season.

Journalist Graeme Bailey shared these insights on the Talking Transfers Podcast.

The career trajectory of Harry Kane is set to be a major discussion topic in the coming summer and beyond.

The sporting star, now 29 years old, is entering the final stages of his contract with Spurs and is generating attention from other clubs.

Currently, Bayern Munich emerge as the favourites, but Tottenham’s Daniel Levy seems reluctant to part with the forward.

Spurs are hopeful that incoming manager, Ange Postecoglou, can persuade the highly-rated striker to stay with them.

Despite this, Carlo Ancelotti is keen to transfer Kane from Tottenham to Real Madrid.

In the wake of Karim Benzema’s departure, Kane would be an ideal successor for the Galacticos.

The iconic Italian coach may have to convince both Tottenham’s and his own club owners that Kane is the perfect recruit for this summer.

Tottenham Star Kane is Desired by Ancelotti

When it comes to the future of England’s captain, Bailey stated: “Madrid’s camp appears to be divided, according to the information I’ve received.

“There’s a distinct contrast between what Florentino Perez wants and what the majority of the club favours.

“Most club members see Harry Kane as the perfect addition to the current Real Madrid team and potential successor to [Karim] Benzema.

“Florentino Perez, whom we must acknowledge tends to make correct decisions, favours [Kylian] Mbappe instead.

“If this turns out to be [Carlo] Ancelotti’s final season, he would likely want another iconic number nine. That is another reason why he might push specifically for Harry Kane. Because with Kane in the team, it could come close to perfection.

“Imagine a team featuring [Fede] Valverde, [Jude] Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., and Harry Kane.

“This combination would be irresistible, and that’s why someone like Ancelotti might insist on having an established player like Kane as a number nine.”

Unless Kane makes it known to Tottenham that he wishes to leave, it is doubtful Ancelotti will have his wish granted.

The significant funds spent on Jude Bellingham this summer and the interest in Kylian Mbappe could complicate a potential move.

Should a transfer to Bayern Munich attract Kane, his enthusiasm for joining Real Madrid may be heightened.

However, the likelihood of either transfer happening is deemed slim, but there’s sufficient time left in the transfer window for things to change.
