Oliver Skipp, the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, might decide to reduce his summer break so as to join the pre-season training ahead of schedule.
A Football London report gives an update about the current happenings at Hotspur Way after the recent appointment of Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian coach formally started his tenure during the past weekend and is tasked with the heavy job of training the new lineup.
He is yet to have all the senior players at his disposal after last month’s international break.
Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, and new addition James Maddison are yet to join the team.
The last one to return might be Oliver Skipp.

Skipp is currently a part of the England under-21 team participating in the European Championships.
The semi-finals against Israel are scheduled for tomorrow and a victory would secure their spot in the final this weekend.
After that, Skipp is expected to take a break before rejoining Tottenham for pre-season activities.
However, rumors suggest that the 22-year-old might decide to curtail his holiday time.
As he needs to prove himself to the new manager, he doesn’t want to lag behind his other Spurs teammates.
Skipp might return to Tottenham early from holiday
According to the Football London report, ‘Oliver Skipp, after progressing to the semi-finals with England, might decide to cut short his vacation by a few days to leave a quicker impression on the new boss.’
England has shown considerable performance this summer, although Skipp hasn’t been able to make a significant impact.
Manager Lee Carsley introduced him as a substitute in the first two group matches for England before he played a whole 90 minutes against Germany.
In the quarter-finals against Portugal, where England saw their fourth consecutive victory and clean sheet, Skipp appeared again as a cameo.

The news of Jacob Ramsey’s exit from the team due to an injury might be beneficial for the 22-year-old.
Tottenham is set to go for their pre-season trip on July 14, just six days after England possibly plays in the Euro’s final.
If Skipp chooses to return early to Tottenham, he won’t get much of holiday time.
But, if he manages to return with a winner’s medal, it would certainly boost his chances under Postecoglou.
