Talented Midfielder Eager to Join Tottenham

There is a strong connection between Tottenham Hotspur and Barcelona’s Franck Kessie.

In the past, La Repubblica reported the desire of Antonio Conte, previous coach of Spurs, to have the talented player from Ivory Coast in his team.

Now that Ange Postecoglou leads the team, he might have the chance to acquire where Conte could not.

It was reported by Sport, a Spanish newspaper, that Spurs alerted Barcelona of their interest in Kessie.

The newspaper also suggested that the midfielder is attracted to the idea of joining Spurs.

According to Sport, Kessie’s first preference is to either remain at his current club or move to England, even given Juventus’ interest.

The player seems to be interested in becoming part of Postecoglou’s lineup, as he has expressed interest.

Kessie might perhaps consider Juventus as an option, but currently, it is secondary and ‘not entirely ‘out of question.

Reportedly, Kessie is drawn to one of the Premier League’s significant six clubs.

Kessie’s exceptional performance made him one of the most valued midfielders in Serie A while he was with Milan.

Even though his performance at Barcelona has been laudable, the club doesn’t seem to consider him crucial for them.

Tottenham could benefit from Barcelona’s apparent lack of valuation, and Kessie may not even come with a hefty price tag.

Recent reports suggest Kessie could be available for approximately £30million this summer.

Kessie, with 63 caps for Ivory Coast, is an exceptional player, on top of his game, and has proven his skill at an elite level.

Antonio Cassano previously praised Kessie as a ‘remarkable’ player that he would gladly have on his team.
