Oliver Skipp has recently voiced his appreciation towards the latest additions to Tottenham Hotspur’s team.
While interacting with Tottenham’s media crew, Skipp unveiled his initial impressions about Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, and Manor Solomon.
Udogie made his way into the Spurs recently after Fabio Paratici signed him from Udinese in the past summer. The young 20-year-old spent the previous season as a loaned player at his original team.
The steps to bring Vicario, Maddison, and Solomon to Tottenham have already been initiated as part of Ange Postecoglou’s reconstruction of the team.
Skipp confessed his admiration for the new members brought into the team.
Skipp Is Pleased with Tottenham’s Summer Acquisitions
In a discussion with The Diary Room, Skipp expresses his anticipation of what these four players can contribute to the team in the upcoming season.
“They’ve all adapted quite seamlessly and introduced their diverse personalities into the mix,” he said.
“This is quite an accommodating team to join and we’ve done our best to make them feel welcomed, a thing we are really good at.”
Maddison, Destiny, Manor, and Vicario all have diverse and exciting characteristics to see.
“They’re all unique in their own way and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the table. The new signings are always thrilling,” he added.
As part of Postecoglou’s vision, Tottenham is anticipated to continue recruiting players this summer.
The manager will also need to reduce squad size after gathering a total of 31 players for the team’s pre-season tour in Asia.
Despite a 3-2 defeat against West Ham on Tuesday, the performances of Solomon and Udogie offered a glimmer of hope, indicating that the new players at Tottenham have acclimated well.
