It appears Manchester United are in the running to bring Dusan Vlahovic, a player believed to be Tottenham Hotspur’s pick in case Harry Kane departs, onboard this summer.
Although recent transfer market buzz has primarily been about midfielders, the focus usually shifts to the strikers, whose extraordinary deals often make headlines. The forthcoming days could witness some swift and interesting movements in this area.
Scarce not being the interest in Harry Kane, with Bayern Munich reportedly showing keenness, his transfer could trigger a barrage of signings. Tottenham could target Vlahovic in such an event, but it won’t be a cakewalk, as Manchester United are also interested, states Ben Jacobs on GiveMeSport.

Manchester United Foresee Dusan Vlahovic as Tottenham’s Prized Possession
Dusan Vlahovic’s potential switch to the Premier League seems inevitable, given the reported interest that almost every major club in England has demonstrated.
Arsenal nearly roped Vlahovic in before he decided in favour of Juventus. However, Arsenal’s slight lack of interest now leaves room for other clubs to take a shot.
The one club which seems highly interested is Tottenham, reports journalist Ben Jacobs on Tottenham Fan Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel, but that could happen only if Harry Kane exits.
The same journalist believes Manchester United might try to bring him in later during the transfer sessions.
According to Jacobs, “Dusan Vlahovic has been a keenly watched player by Manchester United and Chelsea. Primarily, clubs have been waiting to grasp Juventus’ stance, which is why the matter has not made significant headway.
“Manchester United has not made their move yet, but Vlahovic is certainly on their radar among a bunch of other striking prospects. It will be intriguing to see if anyone makes a deal that matches value because, while Juventus may seek €80 million (£68m) or more, suitors believe that €70 million (£60m) or even less could be viable.
“It is probable that someone will approach Vlahovic shortly, but Manchester United might take a bit more time before making a final decision.”

From the Reviews Corner:
In the view of the current scenario, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United has a more compelling need for a striker than Tottenham.
Tottenham already has acclaimed striker Harry Kane at its disposal. Unless Daniel Levy decides to sell him off, he is likely to stay. Rumours are, however, rife about Harry Kane’s future at the club.
Given Bayern Munich’s express interest, the possibility of a Kane transfer is looking probable. If that happens, it will be obligatory for Tottenham to sign a top-tier striker in his place.
Vlahovic would indisputably be an excellent choice, but it’s unknown if they can outbid Manchester United in the quest to bring him onboard.
