Bayern Munich have indicated they are ready to augment their proposal for acquiring Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur, subsequent to their recent dialogues with the club.
As reported by sports writer Kerry Hau, Bayern have shown readiness to go beyond the £86m threshold to make the transfer happen.
However, even this increased offer may not suffice for Daniel Levy, the Tottenham chairman, despite Hau’s confidence that a mutual agreement could be achieved.
In a news update shared on X, Hau stated: “FC Bayern are now willing to cross the €100 million line for a Harry Kane transfer.
“But this still falls short of Daniel Levy’s expectations, hence no agreement was reached on Monday.
“However, for Bayern, the meeting served as an important juncture in what is proving to be a challenging process…”
“Discussions are ongoing, and all parties are striving towards an amicable solution. It’s all a question of the right time and the right price.”
