Tottenham Ponders Replacing Harry Kane with Promising World Cup Star

In the wake of likely losing Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, Tottenham is generating a roster of possible substitutes.

Tottenham faces a significant challenge in retaining Kane, as Bayern continues to express interest and pressure mounts on Daniel Levy to strike a deal.

Despite the lack of progress so far, Tottenham is already scouting potential substitute forwards.

According to RMC Sport in France, one potential replacement under consideration if Kane leaves is French footballer, Randal Kolo Muani.

Playing for the French team in the World Cup final last season, Muani is hailed as an up-and-coming talent in the French football sphere.

Muani’s current team is Eintracht Frankfurt. A transfer inquiry by Manchester United was reportedly quoted at around £85m.

If Tottenham decide to invest the funds from Kane’s transfer entirely on Muani, it might still prove worth it given the latter’s considerable potential to replace Kane’s influence on the team.

Praised by Jermaine Jenas during the World Cup as ‘excellent’, many anticipate Muani to be set for a major transfer from Germany in the near future.

A Hefty Price for a Single Player

While there’s no doubt Harry Kane comes with a hefty price tag, Tottenham potentially investing in him could be a guarantee for performance and goals.

Spurs would take on more risk with Muani, who hasn’t yet proven himself in the English league and has yet to reach his peak. Therefore, this move has its inherent risks.

Muani, on the other hand, is an impressive young striker. If Tottenham is ready to invest heavily, Muani could be one of their best choices.
