Tottenham Hopeful of Convincing Stellar 26-Year-Old to Join, Even Though Rival Club’s Offer Approved

Spurs are hopeful that the appeal of trying something new will entice Franck Kessie to opt for Tottenham Hotspur over Juventus this summer, as he faces a choice between both clubs.

As reported by The Times, Juventus has already come to terms with Barcelona on a potential loan agreement for the Ivorian, indicating a tough competition for Tottenham.

Following his transfer to Camp Nou last summer, Franck Kessie struggled. Despite having contributed to AC Milan’s Scudetto victory, he found it difficult to secure his spot in Xavi’s starting lineup.

Tottenham’s Efforts to Sway Kessie from Juventus

According to The Times, Kessie’s tenure at Catalonia may be cut short as he deliberates between signing with either Tottenham or Juventus.

However, Juventus’ loan agreement is subject to convert into a full-time deal depending on specific conditions. Tottenham is banking on the fact that Kessie, having played most of his career in Italy, would be attracted to try football in England.

Playing in the Serie A might go against Tottenham’s wishes though. He transformed into an exceptional player during his tenure in Italy.

After a challenging stint with Barcelona, he might prefer a return to the Italian league- a place where he achieved a good deal of success.

Succeeding in attracting Kessie to North London would be a significant achievement for Tottenham. Ange Postecoglou’s players have had a promising summer so far and adding the 26-year-old to the roster would be a step forward.

Kessie, with his exceptional skills and his capacity to score numerous goals, would be a fantastic addition. Notably, he netted 13 league goals in his second last season with Milan.

If Tottenham succeeds in luring Kessie away from Juventus, it will be quite an accomplishment.
