Tottenham is actively examining potential replacements should Harry Kane exit, with Rudy Galetti, a renowned sports journalist, hinting at the club’s interest in Lille’s Jonathan David.
Several English teams have kept a keen eye on David due to his spectacular performance in recent seasons for the French club.

Yet, no transfer has taken place, with David remaining at Lille while clubs keep him on their comprehensive list of prospective acquisitions.
Tottenham is one team to include him on their list of potential replacements for Kane. This rumor was shared on Galetti’s Twitter, stating that Tottenham views David as an alternative should Kane exit.
David has earned 40 international caps with Canada and is leading the charge of the new generation of Canadian footballers making a name in top-tier leagues.
The 23-year-old forward offers versatility with his ability to adapt to any attack position and has been linked with leading clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea in prior rumours.
The Speeds Database interestingly ranks David as faster than another target of Tottenham, Dusan Vlahovic.
Speculation places Serbian Vlahovic, who might be departing Juventus this summer, on Tottenham’s radar.
Should Kane leave for Bayern this summer, Tottenham may need to expedite their next move.
Fast and Furious Obvious Successor for Kane
While Jonathan David is a different kind of player than Harry Kane, he’s certainly someone who can thrill Tottenham fans.
He’s a player with explosive speed and a keen eye for scoring. Having proved his worth in France, the next challenge awaits him in a more demanding league.
David can add speed, agility, and flair to Tottenham’s attacking line-up. Replacing Kane is no small feat, but the Canadian forward might prove to be a viable solution.
