Sky Sports Discloses ‘Major New Development’ on Harry Kane

Senior officials from Bayern Munich are proceeding to a subsequent meeting with Tottenham Hotspur’s chief, Daniel Levy, concerning the possible acquisition of Harry Kane.

Journalist Florian Plettenberg’s report was broadcasted by Sky Sports through Football Daily.

Harry Kane’s professional future at Tottenham is currently the summer’s noteworthy transfer melodrama.

Given that his current contract with Spurs is nearing its end in less than a year, it is comprehensible that clubs are demonstrating intense interest.

Among all, Bayern Munich seems to be the most eager, having already had two bids turned down.

Paris Saint-Germain is also reported to be interested, with Kylian Mbappe set to depart this summer.

Unsurprisingly, queries about Kane’s future have been the primary focus of new manager Ange Postecoglou’s initial press briefings.

Recently, he faced a situation where a German reporter presented a fabricated Bayern Munich jersey showcasing Kane’s name on the back.

At present, Bayern’s officials are in transit to an appointment with Tottenham to deliberate the potential recruitment of Kane.

Daniel Levy has yet to disclose his desired price to the German club.

However, selling Sadio Mane could potentially increase Bayern’s negotiation power through the additional funds raised.

Tottenham and Bayern to Confer Over Kane’s Future

As per the Sky Sports report by Florian Plettenberg, host Tom White reported, “Emerging news from Sky Germany is that Bayern’s directors are presently en route to London for a meeting with Daniel Levy. The directors traveling are [Jan-Christian] Dreesen and [Marco] Neppe.

“Neppe has just landed at the airport a short while ago. We understand that they have an amicable and respectful relationship with Daniel Levy, and these discussions are anticipated to take a few days.

“However, Bayern seeks to close this deal within the next few days. They aim to settle it this week, and Harry Kane is keenly observing to see if the two clubs can reach an agreement.”

Bayern and Tottenham are each optimistic that their ongoing meeting will bring constructive development concerning Kane’s future.

Whether their expectations align for the upcoming steps is uncertain at this point.

Levy has made it evident that if Kane were to depart, he would aim to secure the highest possible amount from the deal as he is ideally unwilling to sell.

Bayern must have been given some assurance to infer a possible transfer, as they wouldn’t otherwise apply so much pressure.

All attention is now focused on whether the German team will place a third offer and if Spurs would be willing to accept it.
