Jamie O’Hara has dismissed an Arsenal fan’s wishful thinking about Harry Kane joining the Mikel Arteta-led team amid speculation over Kane’s future with Tottenham Hotspur.
O’Hara expressed his opinion on talkSPORT in response to the fan’s comment. This conversation occurred after Arsenal claimed an early psychological advantage by winning the Community Shield just ahead of the new Premier League season.

Surprisingly enough, Harry Kane was netting four goals for Tottenham in their victory against Shakhtar Donetsk that same afternoon.
O’Hara Rejects Speculation of Kane’s Transfer to Arsenal
There was a suggestion by one Arsenal fan that Kane might shock everyone and join the Arsenal team, just as Sol Campbell did by switching sides in North London.

As Kane’s contract with the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to expire next year, it would be safe to conclude that there is no likelihood of Daniel Levy agreeing to sell him to Arsenal this season.
Despite this, O’Hara firmly maintains that the possibility of Kane making a free transfer to Arsenal is slim to none. He confidently stressed that the 30-year-old would never decide to move to the Emirates.
While he stated, “Put that idea out of your head. It’s pure nonsense as it won’t happen. It is simply impossible,” on talkSPORT.
We have always been told not to rule anything out, and especially during the transfer window. Having said that, O’Hara’s confidence in ruling out Kane’s joining Arsenal seems reasonable.
Certainly, Sol Campbell did make the switch and he managed to justify his decision in the subsequent years. However, it is highly unlikely that a player as integral to Tottenham as Kane would consider such a transfer.
All the top clubs in the world will be battling for Kane’s attention if he leaves Spurs on a free transfer next year. He will probably have the understanding of many of the supporters, acknowledging his incredible contribution to the team.
However, if he were to join Arsenal, that legacy would suffer greatly. Even though Arsenal are improving, Kane does not have to join their ranks in order to be successful.
Of course, recency bias can play a part. It is fair to mention that if Kane were to shift to Arsenal in just a year, it would be more shocking than when Campbell made the move over.
