Journalist Graeme Bailey, while participating in the Talking Transfers Podcast, revealed this about the pursued player amidst transfer talks involving Liverpool and Tottenham.

Colwill has become a target due to his commendable performance as a defender. He’s adapted to the Premier League remarkably well. With the ongoing sale of players at Stamford Bridge, several clubs have been eyeing Colwill.

Nonetheless, Bailey insists that Colwill will not be parting ways with the west London club. He has reliable source confirming that the English player won’t be departing Chelsea in the near future.

Colwill is not going anywhere

Bailey disclosed information about the promising player’s plans.

“There’s more to discuss, Gallagher might be leaving, Loftus-Cheek is on his way out. There are numerous possibilities. However, Levi Colwill is certainly staying put. Brighton continues trying, but Levi is committed to Chelsea,” stated Bailey.

It makes sense

It’s easy to see why Chelsea is determined to keep Colwill.

The central defender is highly talented and if clubs like Tottenham and Liverpool are interested, he is definitely good enough to remain with Chelsea.
